Sitting here this afternoon reading through some blog's, I came across this from Trevor Cook via Strategize:
Statistics are always interesting to look at. I read different blogs for different reasons; some for news, some for unbiased views, some for biased views, others for stuff I can't get elsewhere, some just for the fun of it and some I read just because I can!
But my main reason for reading weblogs is that they offer me something traditional media outlets don't... they let me join a conversation where:
members communicate in language that is natural, open, honest, direct, funny and often shocking. Whether explaining or complaining, joking or serious, the human voice is unmistakably genuine. It can't be faked.
But of course, there will always be some folk who try to gather statistics on things like weblogs. To me it's a bit like endeavouring to investigate and collate statitistics about why people talk to each other, why they converse, why they interact.... in the end you get a a stack of information that isn't really new, is mainly boring, and no one really cares too much... we'll do what we ant anyway!
Do you desire a house but you lack enough cash to acquire it?
